Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the RunHawk mobile application. By creating an account or using RunHawk you agree to these Terms.

What RunHawk is

RunHawk is a subscription fitness accountability app built around one activity: running 5 kilometers every day, verified by GPS, with streaks, trophies, ranks, and a crew of connected runners who can see whether you completed today's run.

Subscription

• Access to the Gauntlet (daily run tracking) requires a paid subscription: $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year (prices in USD; local pricing may vary).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel anytime in your device Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.

Fair play

RunHawk verifies runs with GPS and motion analysis. Attempting to fake a run — including driving, cycling, GPS spoofing, or any other falsification — may result in runs being invalidated and, for repeated abuse, account termination without refund. Streaks, trophies, and ranks have no monetary value and cannot be sold, transferred, or redeemed.

Health disclaimer

Running is a strenuous physical activity. RunHawk provides motivation and tracking, not medical advice. Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, and stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, or shortness of breath. You use RunHawk at your own risk, and you are responsible for running safely — remain aware of traffic, terrain, and weather at all times.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use RunHawk.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and the security of your credentials.
• Usernames and display names must not be offensive, impersonate others, or infringe trademarks; we may reclaim or rename accounts that violate this.
• You may delete your account at any time from inside the app.

Acceptable use

Do not harass other runners, attempt to access other users' data, reverse engineer the app, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Intellectual property

RunHawk, the Flame, hawk rank names, trophy designs, and all app content are our property or used with permission. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app; they transfer no ownership.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

RunHawk is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. GPS measurement has inherent inaccuracy and we do not guarantee any particular measurement, streak, or notification outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
